La Sal Mountains

Friday, September 5th, we drove the scenic "La Sal Loop".  It started at the Colorado River at the boundary of Arches National Park and the town of Moab. Then, we drove through Castle Valley, and wound our way through the La Sal Mountain Range to a high woodland area before descending to the valley below.
