                                                       Our hike to Saddleback Mountain

                                                            22 million years old!

                                            The steep hike from Saddleback Mountain

                                 We hiked around the corner of Picacho Peak to its' back.

                        This is where I waited for Jonathan as he climbed to the peak.

The climb up becomes a climb along the edge of the peak to its' summit.

 Jonathan navigated this area by pulling himself with his hands on each of the cables. The incline is about 70 degrees. Jonathan had to return this way, also.
