Washington, D.C.

July 28, 2014 Jonathan and I traveled to Washington, D.C. with a bus tour. The bus met us at our campsite at 6:30 in the morning.

Our first stop was The Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, Arlington Cemetery. The tomb is guarded 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Guards are trained and reside at the Fort Myers base next to the cemetery. We observed the changing of the guard and a wreath laying by two children and an honor guard. https://www.landcarenetwork.org/Renewal/Renewal-and-Remembrance.aspx
