Bryce Canyon: Hiking

Wednesday, September 10, 2014

We hiked a trail that started at Sunrise Point and wound its' way to Sunset Point.
Sunrise Pt and Sunset Pt are viewed from the same side of the canyon.

"A Limber Pine grows atop a hoodoo near Sunset Point. It's likely this tree began life as a seed cached and left unclaimed by a Clark's Nutcracker."

J and I laughed at "avoid dangerous cliffs". We have been doing that since Arches!

It was fascinating to be closer to these hoodoos after seeing them from above.

Next, we hiked through some Bryce Canyon forest.

The trailhead informed us that we would notice different kinds of scat on the trail.
As advertised, but we did not see any matching animals.
