Vancouver Art Gallery: Downtown Vancouver

Today we spent the afternoon at the Vancouver Art Gallery. Wow.

One of my highlights, when I visit Vancouver,  is spending time with Emily Carr.  A dream, some day, is to visit the places she explored and painted. Today, I met Landon Mackenzie. Fascinating to meet an artist whose work has been inspired by Carr. Carr's artistry continues to speak.

Previous to my introduction today, I did not know "Jock". I was moved by how driven he was to find his artistic voice. Throughout his life, he  explored different techniques and styles.
