We hiked the Yurok Loop Trail to Hidden Beach then returned on the Yurok Loop Trail to Lagoon Creek.
In the distance, you can see the highway that runs through the park.

A couple we met earlier on the trail were collecting plastic from the beach. I joined her and she told me about Art 101: the workshop and gallery of Angela Possi. Angela makes art from plastic that is collected from beaches.

An amazing root system. Was it formed by wind and positioning for the sun? There was very little vegetation on the grounds beside the roots.
