Our wine tasting was complimentary, a gift from the Petaluma Visitor's Center!

From Geyserville, we stopped in Sonoma on our return to Petaluma. While parking our truck, we met Ken, plant engineer at Sonoma Gourmet. We discussed politics, Sonoma culture, and our road trip. He suggested some places to visit, and gave us a large jar of his company's truffle gravy.

  1. What a facinating winery! It'd be refreshing on a wine tour to be able to look at such cool memorbilia. Truffle gravy? What's that...I'm assuming similar to mushroom gravy?

  2. The winery was an incredible experience, and the only cost was our transportation!
1st time being close to an "Oscar" award! We've been eating the gravy w/ potatoes. Tonight, we smothered our chicken w. it (we are in Petaluma) ! Yum. Yes, similar to mushroom gravy. Very tasty!
