Sunset Boulevard: Los Angeles

We travelled along Laurel Canyon Boulevard to Sunset Boulevard. In Laurel Canyon, I noticed Vincit Veritas (Truth Conquers) scrolled on a gate. The property rents meeting spaces.

We were on our way inside for lunch when we met Ozzy. Jonathan was so flustered that we walked for a few blocks before returning.  We also saw Ben Stein walk by while we were having our lunch.

We drove to Santa Monica Boulevard and through Beverly Hills. The light standards were decorated  with "Joy To The Hills" banners. We soaked in the scenery through Malibu. Then, we discovered Route 1 to Oxnard was closed due to a mudslide. We backtracked ten miles to a poorly marked connector road to Route 101. Route 101 led us north to Oxnard where we stopped for groceries. Then, we continued on secondary roads to our campsite.
