Carrillo's Gardens is next door to the museum:

1906 celebration of Tucson's first electric streetcars

This mural is on the outside wall of the museum

The park is on the left side of the museum. El Tiradito is on its' right.

The museum docent suggested we explore Meyer's Road, one of the original streets in the barrio. We saw some adobe buildings from the barrio years, several have been renovated.

  1. A gem in the middle of the city ... easily over looked but with a unique perspective.
