San Diego Metro KOA to Indian Waters RV Resort

Thursday, January 8: 
Time to put our Christmas decorations away

We traveled from San Diego on Interstate #15 to Highway #79. Highway #79 connects to #371 known as the Pines to Palms Highway because the drive begins in Pine Trees and ends in Palm Desert.






                                           We joined Highway 74 in Palm Desert.


Two hours from our campground, at elevation, we saw some snow along the road in the shaded areas.

    I have driven this road in Feb. At that time I was shocked by the fire damage that was smoldering with fresh snow
