Today, Jonathan and his dad visited the Pima Air and Space Museum. Sonja and I explored the Rincon Mountain District of Saguaro National Park. We hiked the Freeman Homestead Trail, a one mile trail. Then, we drove an 8 mile loop to read the interpretative signs and view the desert.
One of the four corners of the Freeman home.
This canyon wall provided some shade!
Return to the sunshine!

I didn't take a photo of the "houses in the distance", preferring the view on the other side of the park uninhabited by humans ;-D

Dinner together at Leo's Mexican Restaurant*
 |
Leo of Leo's Mexican Restaurant came over to our table and greeted each of us with a smile and a handshake. Our Leo commented "I'm Leo, too". At the counter, the men exchanged a hug and Arizona Leo reached under the counter and gave our Nova Scotia Leo a Leo's Mexican Restaurant hat! |
Customer service at its best!
ReplyDelete;-D I hope Leo wears his hat in Nova Scotia.
ReplyDeleteLeo says.. " Oh YES !"
ReplyDeleteA perfect way to have spent our last day in Tucson.... A walk in the desert with even more spectacular Saguaro and Mexican food for supper.... not to mention the superior company! Thank you!
